Over the past decade, as a supplier to metaphysical shops, I have seen a great many pendulums for sale. Some pendulums have only a base, so that the chain must be wrapped around the fingers. Other pendulums have only a small bead on top, which is difficult to hold securely without vibration.
My pendulums are distinguished by having two distinctive parts, which work together in harmony. These pieces, often artisan-made, have been gathered from around the world.
The top portion is designed to be comfortable to hold, to give the most accurate possible readings. These include whimsical ceramics from Peru, Fair Trade high-glaze pottery beads from a women's cooperative in Kenya, artisan-made metal oms from Nepal, a set of rainbow chakra beads made of Czech glass, sterling silver pentacles and goddess charms, colorful mounted straw flowers from Taxco, ceramic leaf print tiles from the southern coast of England and handcrafted goddess beads from eastern Washington State.
To complement these bases, a variety of stone and metal pendulum points have been commissioned from the far corners of the world. From Brazil, there is lavander and white-streaked lepidolite, natural quartz points, and also elegant silver-capped rose, green and blue quartz, rutilated quartz, the exotic "olho do sapo" and sodalite. From India comes garnet, black tourmaline, lapis, adventurine, rainbow moonstone, moss agate, and much more.
Some pendulums have metal points: for example, Tibetan phurpas, three-edged blades used to cut out evil on the spiritual plane. From Belgium comes metal pendulums tooled to computer precision, often copied but never equalled (we are proud to be the only current U.S. supplier).
I personally select each pairing, not just each grouping, to make sure that each pair works together in weight, energy and appearance. Each pendulum is then hand assembled in Sedona, Arizona.
Enjoy!!
